"Kind of Blue" towers above its peers and is generally considered as the definitive jazz album. An innovative, classic jazz album that has stood the test of time, the album is occasionally referred to as the Citizen Kane of jazz.

3) Although legend states that the entire album was recorded in a single pass, only “Flamingo Sketches” yielded a complete take on the first try.
